Some more testing: I tried ImagePlaneWidget.tcl from the vtk examples and produced an "image.tif". This one isn't black, but it's some strange pattern - not what I saw on screen... Didn't make any changes to the example, just ran it using tclsh... So what am I doing wrong here? Regards Martin
