[vtkusers] Transfer Function Widgets

You should check out the KWWidgets project: 
http://www.paraview.org/Wiki/KWWidgets. The KWWidgets project has its 
own wiki and mailing lists you can join. Read the wiki for more info.

Specifically, after downloading it and building it, run the 
KWWidgetsTourExample and see the following widgets for transfer function 
editing capabilities:
vtkKWColorTransferFunctionEditor
vtkKWPiecewiseFunctionEditor
vtkKWVolumePropertyWidget
