Running XP Home and CMake 2.2-Patch 3.
It seems CMake reports it  cannot compile a simple program eventhough I can.
I downloaded the SDK Platform but am not sure that it needs to be installed.
I'm running  VC++.Net Express 2005 and it works fine.
I cannot see what code the CMake simple test consists of and thus am stuck.
 With VERBOSE ON the CMakeError.log reports:

Determining if the C compiler works failed with the following output:
       ---- and nothing is shown  ----
