[vtkusers] how to update renderwindow in real time?

Hi,

I created a volume in a renderwindow. I am changing the color of the volume
in real time through a callback function and using GUI. But the color change
is not visible on the volume until I start interacting with it(not until I
click in the renderwindow).
How do I update my renderwindow so as to be ableto view this change in
real time?
What is the function that I need to call?
