[vtkusers] image reslicing question.

Hi everyone,

I am just trying to understand the reslicer and image reslicing in
general...

So, as I understand it medical 3D images (say DICOM) are slices of 2D
images. So, if the slices have gaps between them than the reslicer has to
interpolate in YZ and XZ plane, am I correct?

Also, if I create an oblique reslice, than the reslicer needs to interpolate
in all the planes, is that correct???

I would really appreciate it if someone can confirm my assumptions here.
