[vtkusers] compile error: cannot open file "vtkexoIIc.lib".

Dear All:

   The compile error happened: 

Linking...
LINK : fatal error LNK1104: cannot open file "vtkexoIIc.lib"
Error executing link.exe.

when I tried to compiled a program given by my friend,  which was coded using VTK4.4 and Visual C++ 6.0. 

 On my computer, there are two versions of VTK 5.0 and VTK 4.4. May this cause this problem?

  Any one can give me some hints on how to solve this?
