[vtkusers] display problem

Hi I'm having trouble with the display in vtk.

I do the following:

    iren->Initialize

then I have a while loop that updates the Actor in the scene.
the changes happening to the actor are shown for a few seconds but then

THE SCREEN HANGS....

I let the while loop finish and can see the end result..

I WANT TO KNOW HOW TO SHOW THE ACTOR IN THE SCENE
WHILE IT IS DEFORMING?
