[vtkusers] Compile on OS X 10.4

Yes. I bought this powerbook with Tiger on it. In fact I was able to
build vtk 4.2.6 with BOTH GCC 3 and GCC 4 back then. But then maybe I
did the hacks that were listed else where in the mail list.... can
not really remember.
All this started because somehow the "Patented" directory got
left out of my build I now I would like to try some of the Decimate
routines.. I'll try a few things that I found in the list and see
what happens.
