[vtkusers] Error while runnin vtk program

Hey,

I have just joined the vtk users group and I am trying to install vtk 
on a Red Hat Linux machine for which I do not have administrative 
privileges.

When I confiure my program and make it it gives me the followi error:

./volumemorph: error while loading shared libraries: 
libvtkRendering.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or 
directory

Can anyone help me with this?
