[vtkusers] help about reading images with VTK

hi,

 i am a newbie using VTK , and i am trying to write a code in C++ with
VTK to read the images from this site
http://graphics.stanford.edu/data/voldata/  .The images are split into
many parts and i have to read all the parts to form the image, after
that i need to use the Marching Cubes algorithm and after the triangle
dizimation algorithm. The problem is that i have no idea how to do
this in C++ using VTK liubrary...if anyone can help me with something,
it will be greatly appreciated. Also, if someone can tell me how to
convert the image i make with vtk into VMRL format, please tell me.

Ps: if anyone has any tip about volpack, it would be great too!
