[vtkusers] Help w/ Mac OSX compiling w/ Tcl wrappers

I'm trying to compile the vtk source code with Tcl
wrappers.  I type 'make' in the directory of the
source code.  This process ends unsuccessfully after a
while with the message:

make[2]: *** [bin/vtk] Error 1
make[1]: *** [Wrapping/Tcl/vtk.dir/all] Error 2
make: *** [all] Error 2

I'm not sure what this means or how to proceed, but I
wager it means that vtk did not compile completely. 
Please help.
