I found this entry in the archive. http://public.kitware.com/pipermail/vtkusers/2005-July/080866.html I am having the same problem now that I have upgraded to python 2.4. vtk will no longer import into python. I've rebuilt vtk4.4 to no avail. Has this problem been encountered and solved by anyone else? Ross
