[vtkusers] Project files may be invalid - VTK 4.4 with CMAKE 2.2 on WIN XP with Visual C++ Express / Visual Studio 8

Hello,
This topic has been on some of the other vtk forums, but none have a
reply.  I'm hoping to get some answers from this list.

I've been trying to build VTK 4.4 under the WIN XP SP2 environment, with
no luck.  I am also using CMAKE 2.2 to build for the VS 8 2005 platform.

During the configuration process, I get a message saying that the
project files may be invalid.  I look into the error log, and all I see
is a line saying error with VTK EXTENSIIONS, with no other output.

Has anyone else come across this error?  Have you been able to resolve
this problem?  How or what did you do to resolve the problem?
