[vtkusers] Question on vtkImagePlaneWidget

I have a volume which is then resliced by the vtkImagePlaneWidget to show
the slice on the screen.

Somewher down the Code I change the volume a little and make a new volume
object .

Now my question is Can i just pass the volume data to the widget by using
SetInput or I have to make the whole pipeline again , right from Interactor
and Renderer.
