[vtkusers] Compilers on Windows XP

Believe it or not but the microsoft compiler is free too

BUT you don’t get the Visual Studio environment just the command line
tools.

There a few GUI's around that allow you to stitch these tools in and you
have a free editor/compiler/debugger

Who would think microsoft would be so nice

If I remember correctly, I had problems with minGW and
cmake. I am currently using borland 5.5 and that is
worknig just fine. Best of all its free.
