[vtkusers] a problem about building vtk 4.4 with cmake in linux

hi,all:
	i am trying to build vtk 4.4 with cmake in linux,but when it finished,i cannot find any *.a lib,is it because that i set any wrong value after running "cmake -i" command ?
	any help would be appreciated,thank you in advance!
