[vtkusers] Access 3D data array

Dear friends
  I m prabhath,
 I m developing 3D volume using 2D slices and i have created a plugin to 
ImageJ also, it working properly.
  I need to access 3D data array to get Density information, Pls let me no 
how to access data array or is there any otherway to get density information 
from object? I have both surface rendering and volume rendering plugins.
 I appriciate if u can give me some guildlines
