[vtkusers] dashboard failures on Mac OS X, invalid pixel format

Does Mac OSX Server have a special sort of WindowServer app? Can 
multiple users be logged on to the WindowServer...? Is the "builder" 
user running the dashboard actually logged on to a WindowServer session 
that utilizes the video card...?

The test images are all solid black - I'm sure that's a clue, but I 
can't tell you where to look next... :-)

Good luck. Post back if you figure this out - I'm sure somebody else 
will run into this eventually.
