[vtkusers] Where do I begin?

hi!
I just got around to getting th software for Vtk,and
Im hoping it will help me for my research work.Ive
studied my biomedical Engineering.But I dont have any
manual and I dont know where to start!
I would be very grateful if someone can help me out
here.
