[vtkusers] rendering to a file and making movies

Please keep your questions on the VTK users mailing list.

You could try rendering off-screen if the problem is that you don't 
want to see the render window or that you don't want another window 
to accidentally cover the render window. However, you cannot directly 
render to a file.
