[vtkusers] dataset attribute

Hello to all

I'd like better understand the difference between setting dataset 
attribute as  vtkCellData or vtkPointData:
why with a vtkDataSetMapper I can render a vtkImageData with vtkCellData 
dataset attribute, and with
a vtkImageMapper I can't?
