[vtkusers] vtkPolyData question...please help

Hi,
I have a vtkPolyData which has dimensions of 256*256*124 and spacing of 0.9375*0.9375*1.3.
I have to cut this at points of 1 mm spacing and convert it into isotropic polydata with dims of 256*256*256 and 1mm spcing in all directions. I am able to cut it but how to I create a polydata from this ?
