[vtkusers] how to draw 2D text along a line or path?

Hi, 
 
Does anyone know how to use vtkTextActor to draw a 2D Text along a line?
As far as i know, vtk can only draw 2D text in horizon direction of screen.
maybe i'm wrong.
 
Any hints will be helpful,
