[vtkusers] vtkIterativeClosestPoint

Hi everybody,
Anybody has experience with vtkIterativeClosestPoint?
My results are about +/- 1mm, I am comparing cloud of points
from laser scanner (OptiScan) with a model.

I am looking for improve these results. Anybody can help me?
I am using vtk 4.0, is there any improve for this class in
newer versions?
