[vtkusers] Generating an isosurface from a TIFF file

I have a .tif file which is a stack of slices.  I want
to generate an isosurface using that file.  I'm using
vtkTIFFReader to read in the file.  I tried using a
vtkContourFilter to generate the isosurface, but the
result appears to only be isolines.  Any
ideas/suggestions?  Thanks for any help.
