[vtkusers] recording events occuring in render window

Hello,
 
Does anyone know a method / class which will help in recording the events occuring in the render window ?
Also, i am building an application with vtk and vc++ and would like to know how to keep the render window showing all the times even when i switch to different dialog boxes. Is there any property of the render window which will help me achieve this.
