Indeed the parallel projection does look slightly odd in stereo, BUT it
does work for example for a wireframe outline of the data, or
isosurface rendered stuff. Indeed the back face looks bigger than the
front face, but because of the depth perception you get from the 2
eyes, it doesn't hurt your brain at all and it is still very useable.
