Hi Patrick,
sorry I cant help any more... I only picked up on this question because
I was developing a 'banded contour' filter myself. Otherwise I had never
heard of this new filter, well, I see it is only in the 'nightly' vtk so I
guess it is new. You may well have found a bug.
PS: If you want you can test drive my new filter for me ;-P
It displays a problem that may be related to my earlier vtk version........
It does not do lines between bands though!

Hi Dave,
Thank you for your suggestion. Unfortunately, the use of
SetResolveCoincidentTopologyToPolygonOffset
does not solve the problem...
