[vtkusers] volume size

Dear VTK users,

I am trying to use vtkSurfaceReconstructionFilter to calculate the surface
of a 3D object by manually marking unorganized points. Before realizing this
function, I wonder whether I can get the information of the size of the
segmented 3D object with vtkSurfaceReconstructionFilter or other filters.
Could anybody help me? Thanks in advance.
