[vtkusers] about exmaple of VTK-4.4-LatestRelease\VTK\Hybrid\Testing\Cxx

I want to display three orthogonal planes referring to this example.But my images are DICOM style, 16 bits.I change the part of reading images,but there are always something wrong.The result display an outline,but no image information.the z plane is a black rectangle without image information.Is there some one who has used it?Could tell me how can i get the correct result?
