[vtkusers] how to trace a streamline through multiple structured grids ?

Hi all,

i am quite new to using vtk.
the problem i now have is :

i have multiple structured grids ( arranged side-by-side to each other ) 
how can i trace
a streamline starting in one arbitrary structured grid, so that it 
continues in any belonging grid ?

is there a filter which produces one big structured grid from many ?

what can i do ?
any help appreciated !
