How can i apply vtkQuadricDecimation for the vtkDatasetReader.GetOutput() data? It seems like vtkQuadricDecimation takes only vtkPolyDataset. I tried to cast vtkPolyDataset over vtkDataset, but failed for obvious reasons...

I am dealing with a large vtkDataset (~10 mil cells approx) and want to avoid any "expensive" data conversion processes... any help is really appreciated!
