[vtkusers] hardware and benchmarks

A few weeks ago someone gave me a pair of Xeon 3.16GHz/512/533. This does not
happen often. :) I would like to build out a workstation with VTK and ray
tracing in mind. Is there a relatively recent VTK hardware/benchmark FAQ?
Other than a good pair of CPUs and an appropriate amount of RAM for my data
sets, can anyone recommend bottlenecks to look out for and/or graphics
cards?
