[vtkusers] vtkRendering.dll error

I am working under windows 2000, and I have ever met this problem. I solve 
it by:

1. Went to the Environment variables option, but do not add a new varialbe.

2. Choose "Path" and click Edit, add the following at the end: 
"C:/VTK_42/build/bin/Debug ( where the .dll files reside)". Remember to 
separate this new value with the old ones with a semicolon(;).
