[vtkusers] reading 3D (double) data

Could anyone give me an idea of what is the best class to use to read 
volume data from a file with the format 181x217x181 (double) (from a 
single file with no header). I need to pass this source object to 
vtkImageReslice to do rigid rotations, translation on it.
