	If you want you can either give a try to:
- itkGDCMImageIO
- or go directly to : http://creatis-www.insa-lyon.fr/Public/Gdcm/ the
lib comes with a vtkGdcmReader.

	gdcm handles pretty much all possible /buggy/ DICOM files.

And if you are using 4.4 you have access to vtkDICOMImageReader
