[vtkusers] Banding effect on 3D volume rendering

Hi everybody!
Finally I've found the origin of the banding effect: it is due to the vtkPNGReader I was using. If I use the vtkBMPReader the banding effect disappear. Most likely the problem originates from the uncompress action of the reader, because the single png slices are correct. I'd like to thank Lisa Avila and Benjamin King for their useful suggestions.
