[vtkusers] Visulize the following function

Hi, All:

Could anyone know how to visualize the following function using VTK

f(x,y,z) = x^2 + y^2 -( cosine(z) + 1).

I just don't know how to represent consine function in VTK by using vtkImplicient function.

Actually it is the problem 4.8(c) in the VTK book.
