[vtkusers] HPUX Build failure

Hello,
            I am trying build VTK 4.2.2 on HP UX 11.0 with java wrapper.
I am using CMake 1.6.7. I get the following error during build
 
Building shared library /u/VTK-Build/new-build/bin/libvtkCommon.sl...
/usr/ccs/bin/ld: DP relative code in file
/usr/local/lib/gcc-lib/hppa2.0n-hp-hpux11.00/3.2.3/../../../libstdc++.a(
fstream-inst.o) - shared library must be position
    independent.  Use +z or +Z to recompile.
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
*** Error exit code 1
 
Am I not setting any flags properly? Please help
