[vtkusers] VTK and transformation

Hello
I a new user of VTK and I have serious problem using vtkTransform.I have already read the html files and examples but they didnt help.
If we have different actors in the scene and need to transform each of them somehow,we need to several instances of transform.but how can we assign each transform to the relating actor?
In a haptic interaction application I need to know the location of a point on my object while the user is moving it .Here I wanna follow the transformation of a point of an actor .how can I do that?How can I apply the transformations on that point?
Any help will be appreciated.
