[vtkusers] Howto make simple objects.

Hi there,

I'm quite new to VTK. I have read/browsed the VTK User Guide and The Vizualization Toolkit, but still need some experience with the kit and concept.
I have some questions that I hope som newbie-friendly person would like to answer ;-)

Whats the best method for generating/displaying (class-chain?):
1) a simple (possible infinite) line?
2) a semi-transparent sector. Horizontal and vertical opening angle and a range.
3) a smoothed polyline with a line width/radius.

Update-speed have presedence over quality.

Any links to examples with (very) simple graphics?
