[vtkusers] Converting PLOT3D data into VTK file format

Dear All:
 
I know this question has been asked several times but I can't figure it out well.
I am trying to convert unstructured "PLOT3D function file" into VTK file or to 
generate VTK file directly from FORTRAN program.
I have read documentation about VTK file format but it's not clear for me how to
convert or make VTK file.
I don't know much about VTK so the best way is to generate VTK format file
directly from FORTRAN.
I will appreciate if you let me know how I should set the wirte format in FORTRAN
to make VTK file. If possible, would you show me the actual example?
