[vtkusers] RE: VTK40 to VTK4.2 problems - vtkOutlineFilter and vtkExtractVOI

Hello,

I have been porting some of my vtk4.0 code to vtk 4.2 and have encounter
what appears to be a couple of bugs.

1. When I try to use vtkOutlineFilter to draw a bounding box around a
vtkExtractVOI I get the following compilation error:
/mnt/winlin/NDEproject/code/volVis.cpp:273: no matching function for call to
`vtkOutlineFilter::SetInput (vtkImageData *)'
/home/grup/galaxyStuff/VTK/src/VTK421/VTK-4.2.1/Filtering/vtkDataSetToPolyDa
taFilter.h:44: candidates
are: void vtkDataSetToPolyDataFilter::SetInput (vtkDataSet *)

2. When I adjust the sample rate for my vtkExtractVOI the scale of the
volume also changes. Where as in 4.0 the volume would remain the same size
and shape, just change in resolution.

Both of the above worked correctly under 4.0. Does anyone have any ideas how
I can fix these two problems?
