[vtkusers] OS X: Missing widgets

I have VTK 4.2.2 installed under OS X 2.6 with both shared and static 
libraries and the TCL wrapper.  Most of the TCL examples work fine 
except those that use widgets in the examples/GUI/tcl directory.  I get 
errors like:

Error in startup script: invalid command name "vtkBoxWidget"

I couldn't find any help in the mail archives.  Did I miss a step in 
the installation?  Any ideas?
