--Try using SetDebugOn() function in MarchingCubes, which should give you 
the points, verts and polygons created.
Or the marchingCubes->GetOutput()->GetNumberOfPolys() should work too.
       marchingCubes->GetOutput()->GetNumberOfLines() 
       marchingCubes->GetOutput()->GetNumberOfVerts()
