[vtkusers] Failure to link vt4.2 using VC++ 6.0

Hi,

 Starting to learn my way around with vtk but have not been
able to link a simple sample program using VC++ 6.0. I get
a lot of unresolved external symbols (error LN2001).

I downloaded the pre-compiled vtk 4.2 binaries for windows and 
updated (correctly, I hope) the link and compile settings of the
project workspace.

I also couldn't find anything related to my problem in the archives
so I was wondering if somebody could give me any suggestions.
