[vtkusers] restruct 2D image to 3D image

hi, 
     I am a new vtk user. I use vtk+java, I have 75  2D images about rat brain slice. These images are .gif format, Now I want to reconstruct these slice images to get the 3D image. I don't know how to do it, does anyone has the soure file about this kind of problem. Your help will be appreciated.
