Hi

The tube filter outputs triangle strips. You can Access the CellArray using the PolyData method GetStrips().

  is there any facility to  detect collison in vtk?
   in the vtkTube filter am setting its side no. is as 128.
  initial pt (x1,y1,z1)
  final pt(x2,y2,z2)
  i  got an algorithm for collision detection which required  a model as a triangle. can i get the traingle mesh list from vtktube filter.
   I hope some of you can help me
