[vtkusers] how refresh a vtkRenderWindow

Hello
I draw a slice in a vtkRenderWindow and another thread
modify the slice with SetResliceAxesOrigin.
To see the changes in the window, I must resize the
window for example.
Does anybody  know if there is a mean to refresh the
window automatically?
