[vtkusers] Displaying Doubles - But Mapper is float

Am I missing something here?

The data  I want to display is vtkDouble.  But the maximum range allowable
by the LUT and the mapper is float, so it looks like it is impossible to
directly display an array of doubles (unless of course they are in the range
of float).

Or is there a version of vtMapper that takes doubles I haven't found.
